There are Kingdom Laws which always work—regardless of who is working with them in this life. A primary example of the Kingdom Law is that one which addresses tithes and offerings. One does not have to be among the faithful for the divine principles of giving and receiving to work. They always work! They work every time they are applied!

Another such Kingdom Law which always works is that of listening to God. If God put all of this together—and he did—it doesn’t take a great deal of wisdom to see that he has a way to make all things work correctly. Therefore, the only way to discover the proper plan for the living of life is to ask the architect.

We see the consequences of not following Kingdom Law in 1 Chronicles 10.13-14: Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance, and did not inquire of the LORD. Had Saul asked the God who made him king to make it work out for him, God would have done that. It’s a Kingdom Law.

The simple truth in all of this is that if we want to know what works, we need to ask the one who designed it—not just to know about it, but that we would do as God suggests. Saul didn’t: So the LORD put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse. David inquired of God, and won it all! He wanted more than anything to please his Lord. LET US INQUIRE OF GOD, AND THEN OBEY HIS KINGDOM LAW!
