As we walk through our lives we are faced with many, many decisions each and every day. The simplest and yet most compound decisions have to do with what we will do with our stuff and with our time. It often comes down to what we like and don’t like on any given occasion.

Once we have set parameters for some things in life it makes things easier for us to decide whether or not we will do such and such, or go here and there, or buy this and that. More often than not we simply want to know what the limitations are to our own involvement on any given occasion.

There is no difference when it comes to the Kingdom of God in our lives. We do seem to have some difficulty in accepting the total generosity of God when it comes to what he is willing to give into our hands. We catch a glimpse of his very deep and wide love in Joshua 1.3: ‘I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.’ What can this mean for you and me?

I have come to understand that when our God says every—he means EVERY! It means without exception! The limitation is placed upon our willingness to walk out our faith in him. No matter how far I will to go in Jesus Christ; that is how much of the Kingdom of God will be placed within my hands—it’s that simple! I have decided to take the land! I want everything God is willing to give me! I will hike everywhere to get a solid hold on everything God is offering to me. WALK! WALK! WALK!
